In this article, we will explore how to assign Viewer permissions to Salesforce users, allowing them to use Viewer application functionality.

Assign Permission Sets to Users

 To assign Viewer permission set, go to the user's page, click on "Permission Set Assignments," and add theViewer permission set. This allows users to have additional permissions beyond what their profile provides.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Go to "Viewer Administrator"
  2. Click the top left Icon to open the welcome popup
  3. Click the right side to navigate to Viewer Setup Assistant
  4. Click "Assign Viewer Permission"
  5. Click on 'Manage Assignments', then 'Add Assignments'.
  6. Select the users for the "Viewer" Permission Set and confirm.

Test the Permissions Assigned to Users

Once you have assigned Viewer permissions to users, it's crucial to test the effectiveness of those permissions. Conduct thorough testing by logging in as different user roles and verifying that they can access and use Viewer functionality without encountering any unauthorized access or restrictions.
